Onto the third day of my Barcelona trip, we started off with a visit the inside of La Pedrera. We bought a ticket which would give us access to both the La Pedrera during the day and also a night viewing the next day.
Ah Gaudi’s architecture is just superb! This is the rooftop
After that, I bid farewell to my friend and was left to my own devices! I may have wandered into a cathedral afterwards. Honestly, for this Barcelona trip, I went and sat in so many I have forgotten which ones I went inside.
I love sitting inside them because everyone is so quiet!
I happened to stumble on this on the way out, it’s the part of the city called ‘El Borne’.
I was on my way to Parc Citaduella to have a picnic. It was the perfect day to visit! The sky was SO blue and bright. Everyone was out and enjoying the sun.
After that, I headed towards the Gothic area of the town. There’s a lot of interesting alleyways and shops hidden in here.
I walked into yet another Cathedral! I would consider this to be the main one.
It had a beautiful courtyard inside.
Then I exited out of the back and wandered through some random streets.
I was SO tired. I had to sit down somewhere. I treated myself to some churros! 😀
Then I somehow got back on the Ramblas!
Saw another Gaudi h0use, Palau Guell, which was just off the Ramblas. It’s a lot smaller than the other Gaudi buildings but worth a visit if you have time.
Then to round off the day, I met up with my friend in the evening and we ate paella by the sea! 😀
