Beauty Empties for April
I don’t usually mention beauty empties but recently I’ve been determined to try and use everything up. Posting about them also means I can blog about items that don’t really warrant a full post. So here goes – my first list of beauty empties!
Sexy Girl Hair Cologne in Peach – I’ve had this can of hair cologne for years and have only just come to finish it. I love the idea of peach smelling hair but I don’t really feel like this spray gives me the fruity scent I want. It doesn’t smell that authentic so I won’t be repurchasing this.
Biore UV Aqua Rich – I don’t normally think about wearing a sunscreen daily, but these days I really feel like I need to make up for lost time and protect my skin from the daily UV exposure! This is a really great sunscreen. It absorbs quickly and does not leave a white cast. This means you can easily wear this under makeup. It’s perfect. You can read my full review here. I would buy this again. The only reason I’m not getting it now is because I would like to see what other sunscreens are available.
Banila Prime Primer – Not much to say about this. The bottle is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I don’t really notice that my makeup lasts longer than normal.
Clio ‘Sharp So Simple’ Waterproof Pencil Liner – I freaking love Clio! I don’t rave about them enough. I normally wear mac fluidline on my eyes however that needs a brush to apply. I’ve been looking for something a little more convenient so I picked up the Clio pencil liner to try. It is a twist format pen which is smooth to apply. I really liked it however the downside is that I used this up so quickly! I don’t think it even lasted a month.
Liese Juicy Shower – I love using this as a detangler for my hair. Read my full review here.
Shu Uemura Depsea Water Mist – This was the start of my facial spray obsession! I haven’t been able to return to this because I have way too many to use up. Don’t let that put you off, it’s a lovely luxury item!
Shu Uemura Depsea Hydrability – It’s basically a toner. I haven’t really found this to be spectacular compared to any other toner. It works but you can find cheaper alternatives.
Cure Aqua gel – It’s pricey but I think it’s the best exfoliator. You rub the gel over your skin and it gently removes the dead skin cells. I’m trying other alternatives to see how they fare against it.
Kose Sekkesei Cream Excellent – I’ve used this once or twice. It’s a pleasant moisturiser that doesn’t break me out. I would buy if I fancied a splurge, but there are many cheaper moisturisers I want to try!
And there you have it, my beauty empties for the month!
