Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Chiffon Review
Looking for a new shade for your pout? Etude House have brought out 12 shades of lipsticks called ‘Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Chiffon’
I’m not really a lipstick wearer although I want to be! I think this lipstick could give you the perfect introduction into the lipstick world as it provides a creamy semi-matte texture rather than the full on matte look!
As part of the pink bird programme, Etude House sent me two colours from the Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Chiffon range. The first one being the PK027 which is the same pink shade that Krystal is wearing in the promo shot! The other is the BE109.
Here’s what the Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Chiffon packaging looks like. As you can see the casing is in Etude House’s classic pink!
Here’s a preview of PK027!
And this is the BE109.
The BE109 looks very brown and I wasn’t particularly sure I would wear it! But of course, you really need to test them out! I found that I wore this shade a lot more than PK027 as it’s so natural looking. This does not look brown as it looks in the stick.
Not sure if it seems pointless, but it really doesn’t look like I’m wearing a lot of lipstick! It just gives my lips a lovelier and smoother appearance.
Here’s the swatches on my skin.
And here’s what it looks like on my lips.
I find the PK027 a little too loud for my tastes. It also highlights all the dry bits on my lips and it is a reminder that I really need to do something about it. So if you’re like me and are rather lazy about lip care then you might want to avoid the brighter shades.
In terms of lastability, there’s nothing leaping out to me that suggests it stays for a long time. You will need to reapply as normal after 3 or 4 hours or if you’re just had a meal e.t.c. It’s not a big deal as that’s what lipsticks do!
I really like the BE109 shade and it has been my go to lipstick to throw into my bag!
Edited to add this image from the official site:
From this image, it seems you can wear the lips-talk chiffon in two ways! One with a heavier application for a more matte look and then for the graduated look, mix it with a little gloss.
