Etude House Dust Cut Facial Mist
If you’ve been to Malaysia recently, you’d have to have been living under a rock to not notice the thick HAZE that’s been blocking out the sun for days on end!
I was always interested in trying out the Etude House’s Dust Cut mist. I initially thought it was a makeup brush cleaner for some reason but it’s actually a facial mist which protects the skin from pollutants. It is the perfect product to try whilst out in the haze.
How does it work?
It works as a barrier, think like when you try to put two magnets of the same pole together, they repel each other. The facial mist works like that to bounce off any harmful pollutants from touching your skin.
When I spray it on my face, I do notice that my skin is tightening or tingling a little. It’s kind of difficult to tell if it’s working as I unfortunately do not have the talent to see particles in the air! However, I am convinced it is doing something. Take a look at this video by Etude!
I’m not sure we can call this a fair test since our skin is completely different from that of a balloon (unless you happen to be a balloon man!).
Nevertheless I do think there’s no harm in using this to protect your skin. It also gives a nice freshening feeling if your skin starts to feel tired during the day.
