I have a few more Etude House products to review from last month’s Etude House pink bird box!
The first products to review are from Etude Houses’s Toning White C Collection.
It’s a new skincare range focusing on whitening, hydrating and brightening!
The Etude House White C Collection contains the following items.
Toning White C Clear Toner – This is a vitamin whitening toner which clarifies the skin by removing dead skin cells. It’s a runny thin clear liquid which is better suited when applied with a cotton. It absorbs fast into the skin and left me feeling fresh!
Toning White C Radiance Emulsion – A lotion which smoothes and brightens the skin with moisturising mineral substances. This has a slightly thicker substance which makes it easier to apply.
Toning White C Tone Up Cream – A cream which will take care of your blemishes and improve skin tone. As the name suggests, this is even thicker than the first two products. I found the consistency was slightly lumpy but in terms of performance, there’s nothing to complain about.
Toning White C Double Effect Sleeping Pack – Whitening purifying sleeping facial pack infused with white moisturising capsules and radiant whitening essence for brighter skin.
I took this sample kit away with me to Barcelona in place of my usual skincare products. I was worried that my skin would dry out since I don’t have a lot of the product however I found that with the layering of all these products, my skin felt hydrated. I also used the sleeping pack at night to give my skin an extra moisture boost.
Whilst I didn’t see any noticeable whitening/brightening of the skin, my skin didn’t seem to darken in the Spanish sun (admittedly I always use sunscreen). I don’t think I’ll be switching my skincare to this range because I want to try others but it moisturises well which is what I’m looking for in a skincare range.
Etude House flower Lesson Compact
I also received a beautiful limited edition eyeshadow compact called ‘Flower Lesson’. It’s in Etude House’s typically girly shade of pink! What I like about this compact is that you can change the eyeshadow palettes. So once you’ve hit the pan of an eyeshadow, you can buy a different colour and replace it with another. It’s perfect for travelling!
As you can see it opens up like so! It has a reasonably sized mirror and a little spongy applicator.
I received 4 colours:
- BR421 – The sandy colour.
- BR422 – The orangey earthy shade
- PP509 – The lilac shade
- PK008 – The peachy pink shade
Here you can see what it looks like on my arm.
I really enjoy the Look at My Eyes eyeshadows. In fact, I’m still using the Berry Delicious collection. I find the colours are not too pigmentated but I like that because it means that when I apply the colours, they look more natural!
