Stranger Things in the Grant Museum of Zoology
I’m always up for seeing the unusual. All the better if it’s local in London! If you’re looking for something a little bit different too, why not visit the Grant Museum of Zoology?
It’s a small natural history museum tucked away on the grounds of UCL (close to Warren Street tube station). I loved the quirky atmosphere of it. Part library, part a scene from Harry Potter! I was fascinated by every inch of the place.
Inside, you’ll find a plethora of oddities in bottles (including a jar of moles), skeletons of Dodos and rare giant deer!
There are cabinets of curiosities everywhere!
If you don’t like creepy crawlies, look away!
Ok come back again!
Grant Museum of Zoology is very much a working museum, you can expect to find the mornings taken up by students studying there.
Grant Museum of Zoology is open from Monday to Saturday, from 1-5pm and it’s completely free to enter.
You can read more about it here.
