Oriental Queen’s Recipe – Hansaeng Cosmetics Rin Bi-gyeol Yun Cream
I haven’t really incorporated a lot of essences into my skincare routine but it’s something I’m looking to introduce. BNT news sent me one to review and it’s the Hansaeng Cosmetics Rin Bi-gyeol Yun Cream.
Here’s what the bottle of the Rin Bi-gyeol Yun cream looks like! I was surprised to see how expensive it looks. The bottle is weighty but when you actually feel it, it’s not actually made of glass. It’s plastic.
Here are some closer shots of the Rin Bi-gyeol Yun cream.
The Rin Bi-gyeol Yun cream has a hint of herbal fragrances and naturally that would be the case since it contains a lot of herbs, all of which are infused with a lot of good nutrients. Here’s the list!
- Polygonum multiflorum root
- Phellinus linteus
- Mulberry root
- Sophora angustifolia root
- Black cohosh
- Black sesame
- Angelica gigas root
- Paeonia lactiflora
- Scutellaria baicalensis root
The focus of this cream is to improve the appearance of wrinkles and also provide whitening. Here’s what the Rin Bi-gyeol Yun cream looks like.
It’s a peach coloured cream which feels really light. At first I thought I would only apply this essence at night but actually, it absorbs into the skin very quickly and spreads very easily over the skin. I really neglect my neck area, so I really love to use this on my neck as well.
The colour on my face is quite an even colour already so it’s hard to say whether this whitens my skin in such a short period of time. But I’ll come back with an update once I know for sure.
It also has a light herbal fragrance which really reminds me of Sulwhasoo products.
At the moment I’m using the COSRX 96 mucin gel as my main essence but I think on days when I want to change it up with something thicker or if my skins needs something different (this will probably happen when the weather gets harsher) then I think the Rin Bi-gyeol Yun cream is a lovely alternative to use.
ETA: After visiting the official site, I think is actually a moisturising cream! I know it says ‘cream’ on the front but the wording on the packaging really threw me off because it just says ‘Rin Bi-Gyeol Yun Essence’.
I was trying to figure out at what point I need to use this so I was using it as an essence! I’m going to slightly revise my review, as a moisturiser, I still like this. It’s fast absorbing, gentle and doesn’t break me out. As I said earlier, it spreads easily and I feel like it is enough to hydrate my neck! It’s a cream but it’s still very light, much lighter in consistency compared to the Innisfree Orchid cream.
