I’ve been working my way through some beauty products. I present you with my June empties for this month.
Kose Junkisui Refreshing Lotion
This was part of a set that my Mum gave me. It didn’t suit her skin so usually, when that happens, I end up having it! At first, I wasn’t that enthusiastic about this product. I prefer putting on a toner that I can just slap on my face. With the Junkisui lotion, I had to use a cotton wipe to dab it onto my skin. I like the feeling of using this to refresh my skin and boost the moisture. However, the lotion itself is actually meant to rebalance acne and inflammation prone skin.
I do have combination skin on my t zone and if I do end up getting the odd zit, it appears on my cheeks. So far, I haven’t had any spotty spells whilst using this so perhaps it is doing the trick! At this stage, I’m not going to repurchase to see whether any zits pop up again.
Kose Sekkisei Recovery Essence Excellent
This is another cast off from my Mum. I haven’t been a big serum user! At most, I would say that it simply adds another layer of moisturiser to my skin.
This serum is part of the whitening range that also replenishes moisture in the skin and prevents hyperpigmentation.
It’s a nice light gel which absorbs well. I have two sun spots that are fading but it is difficult to tell whether it’s because of the serum or not. I still like this serum because, like with the Junkisui lotion, it adds more moisture into my skincare routine. I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase this as I only use it for extra moisture and there are much cheaper alternatives.
Etude House Face Blur
Well if you can’t tell from the ‘well loved’ look of my bottle, I used Etude House Face Blur a lot! I really like it as a product, it works extremely well and gives my skin a smooth photoshopped look when I need it! You can read my full review of it here.
Design my Eyebrow: The Faceshop
This is a great natural looking eyebrow pencil. The nib is slanted so you can easily fill in your brows. At the other end of the pencil, there’s a spoolie so that you can comb out and soften your brows. I’m keen to have a look at the different shades and see if I can buy another one.
And there you have my June Empties for this month!
