Kicho Phyto Enriched Eye Cream
It’s not for want of trying, but I simply haven’t found an eye cream product that I like to use. Amongst BNT’s big box of Kicho for this month, they sent me a sample of the Kicho Phyto Enrinched Eye Cream.
As with all Kicho products, it looks like a high-quality item! Each tub holds 20mls of the product and comes with a clear spatula.
What’s the Kicho Phyto Enriched Eye Cream for?
Being a natural cosmetics brand with over 50 years of history (for those not in the know, it’s part of the Dooyeon Corporation), the focal ingredient of this eye cream is the soy phyto placenta water extracts and 7 natural ingredients.
Its two main purposes is to brighten dark circles and works as an anti ageing eye cream by tackling wrinkles!
Opening up the lid, it reveals a butter coloured balm which is has a very sticky consistency. I enjoy the feeling of this particular eye cream because of the smoothness. So much so that I have developed quite a bad habit of just slathering this all over my under eye area.
Here you can see what it looks like on my skin! Think of it more like a sticky balm
I’ve only been using this for two weeks so it’s hard to say if it’s effective in combating wrinkles. I have a little crease under my eyes but I can still see that it is there.
I do think you can OVERLOAD your skin with too much product. I noticed I’ve been getting a bit of milia under one of my eyes because of my bad habit! I think it’s just a matter of being able to kerb your enthusiasm for the product as you definitely do not need a lot of product.
I do find that it takes a while to absorb into the skin, so I do not recommend applying to before you go to work. It is, however, perfect as an eye cream to use at night. Although on the website it says it would only take 3 minutes to absorb. I’m now wondering if it’s because I’ve put too much on?
Since I normally don’t use an eye cream, I will continue to monitor the results of this cream and reduce the amount I put on my skin!Would I repurchase this though? I’m not sure only because it’s pretty pricey. It cost $62 USD on the official website.
However, out of all the eye creams I have tried, I do find the Kicho Phyto Natural Enriched eye cream to be the most satisfying on put on! So watch this space.
