Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop
I bought the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop serum because I saw so many beauty youtubers raving about how effective it is at brightening the skin! I’ve got two dots on my face which I can only describe as sun spots! They just won’t go away so I thought I’d give the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop serum a try.
What does it do?
The Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop contains vitamin C which is meant to rejuvenate your skin, improve the tone and texture and protect your skin from UV damage!
It comes in a little 35 ml bottle which comes with a dropper tool.
Using the Vitamin Drop
On the package, it recommends using this by adding a few drops at the serum stage. So I used it in conjunction with my Magnolia serum so that it is easily absorbed. It also means that I don’t have to wait for each layer to dry! The quicker I can complete my skincare routine, the better!
You can see how it looks on my skin when I apply it.
The first couple of times I tried this, I noticed I had a couple of red patches underneath my makeup. I’ve never seen that happen to my skin before and I think it was down to the vitamin serum. I wasn’t too alarmed about it as I thought it might be a sign that it was purging bad stuff! (not sure how true that is). The red patch went away very quickly. Along with that, I had a few zits which is really unusual for my skin. Again, I think this is my skin purging.
Another time I tried the vitamin drop directly onto my skin. I could feel my skin warming up. Although it was not painful, I thought it would be better with a serum so it’s not so harsh on my skin!
I’ve been using this for about 3 months now. I think my skin has got used to it now so I no longer see my skin reddening or feeling warm. I’ve not had any breakouts either so at least my skin is behaving. I’ve been monitoring my sun spots and it’s really hard to say whether this is doing anything in terms of fading. I think my skin looks better but I’m not 100% convinced about this product. I’m doing to continue using it until it is finished and then see what happens to my skin when I stop using it!
