Dipping into the Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint
My next review is for the Snow Dessert Pudding Tint in Grapefruit Pudding. It’s like an Etude House party here at the moment!
Here it is, the Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint all wrapped up in this cute pastry style boxing.
Once opened up, you can see the pot. The base feels like it’s made of a heavier glass which gives a more lux feeling than your usual lip balms.
Next to the pot sits a soft rubbery spoon (hence this being a Snowy Dessert Pudding tint). As you can see from the photo, it’s quite goopy so you don’t want to apply this with your fingers. The spoon is perfect for applying the tint onto your lips.
You would think you wouldn’t need to read instructions on how to use a lip tint, but obviously in my case, I should have done! First time round, I just went for the spoon and slathered it all over my lips. It was far too thick and I didn’t think it looked very good on me.
What you actually need to do is apply the tint to your inner lips with a back of the spoon! This helps to apply the Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint more evenly.
Unfortunately it highlighted how dry my lips were, which is my fault because I don’t care for my lips properly. I’m sure if I exfoliated, the tint would look so much better.
After googling a bit, I found out that there is another suggested way of using the Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint and that is by mixing it with a lip balm. I think this method is so much better for me. It hides my flaky lip sins and the sheerness makes it look super pretty!
In terms of durability, I wouldn’t say it lasts particularly long as some other tints that are on the market. It’s what I would expect for this kind of product. It feels more like a lipstick in a pot.
I’m a sucker for novelty products but I think the fact that the snow dessert pudding tint is not very portable might put some people off. The spoon does come with a little sleeve to keep it clean but I can’t imagine people wanting to carry that in their bags. I mean if you’re anything like me, then that spoon is going to get lost in your bag!
I still think this is a lovely product and really cute. The winning factor for me is the colour. I LOVE coral shades so the grapefruit tint was right up my street! It has the right amount of warmth and pigment without looking too gaudy.
You can get your own serving of the Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint from Etude House.
