Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask
Sulwhasoo is a Korean holistic skincare brand, drawing from the concept of balancing the Yin and Yang energy to restore and rejuvenate healthy looking skin.
What you’ll notice about the range is its very herbal scent. To me it smells a little spicy like ginger. It’s not an unpleasant scent though, which could be due to the fact that its key ingredients are Korean herbs, Chinese Peony, Lotus and Lily.
I know as far as sleeping masks are concerned, everyone is all about Laniege’s Water Sleeping pack but recently I’ve been using Sulwhasoo’s Overnight Vitalizing Mask.
As you can see from the packaging, it’s what I would call a luxury brand! I’ve only seen this at Changi Airport in Singapore so it’s not something I can easily get! It’s also pretty pricey so I would not normally go out of my way to get this however as this was a gift, why not?
The Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask is ‘formulated with traditional Korean herbs to awaken a radiant looking skin with nourishing moisture and herbal extracts.’ Its infused with ‘acutelobed angelica’ which helps to brighten the skin tone and there’s also walnut which boosts skin’s vitality!
As instructed, I use the Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask as the final step in my nightly skincare routine, wearing it overnight and washing it off in the morning. A little goes a long way with this product, I use about two pea sized dollaps of cream so one tube will certainly last you more than a year!
I really do think it nourishes and moisturises the skin well and left my skin feeling noticeably baby soft compared to the Laniege Sleeping water pack! In terms of other skin healing properties, I haven’t really noticed a difference in how my skin looks but for the baby softness feeling alone, I would definitely repurchase.
