Top Things I Watched in 2015
I would like to say that I want to stream less TV in 2016 but I don’t really think I’m being very realistic. I’m such a goggle box and have NO self control. If I know more episodes exist, I will watch them all.
Here’s a list of things I really enjoyed this year.
10. Abnormal Summit
I stumbled on Abnormal Summit quite recently on one of my youtube wanders! (another bad habit I need to stop). It’s a super interesting Korean variety show which hosts an international panel. Together they discuss their cultural differences and opinions on life! I don’t even understand what was happening in the above clip but it’s so funny.
9. Running Man
Ah, Running Man is my staple comfort tv! No matter what, I watch every single episode. I really enjoyed their recent Zombie episode and their X Man special.
8. The Producers
I watched it for Kim Soo Hyun and left with Gong Hyo Jin! I’ve never seen her in anything but she’s kick ass. Initially this drama was very slow and I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about its documentary style, but I really grew to love it.
7. Date – Koi to Wa Donna Kashira
I randomly downloaded this to watch on the plane. I’m really glad I did! It’s about two seriously awkward people, a dorky straight as an arrow woman who wants to get married and a guy who want a woman to loaf off. It’s unexpectedly good and refreshing. I need to keep up with more Japanese dramas.
6. The Walking Dead
Is it unexpected that I love the Walking Dead? I DO! I hate gore and scary things but when it comes to zombies, I can totally take them on. I also enjoy thinking about what I would do in that situation (there is always a situation!)
5. Angry Mom
A refreshing and amazing drama that had me gripped to my seat! I thought it was going to be a comedy but I was SO WRONG. I’m glad I took a chance on it.
4. Crime Scene
I love mysteries and I like to think if I had to solve a crime, I could do it. However if it’s anything like the tv show Crime Scene, I’m going to be a failure of a detective. I always have fun when I watch this show! A true case of WHODUNNIT.
I heard that the US purchased the rights to make this. I’m SO curious to see how that turns out.
3. Infinity Challenge
I’ve been watching random episodes since the music challenge. I thought Family Outing would be the only variety show that would make me cry HARD but Infinity Challenge can now also take that title. It’s a unique show which is hilarious as it is touching.
2. Oh My Ghost
Park Bo Young’s first drama….I can’t quite believe it! She picked a good one. The rest of the cast were equally amazing.
1. She was Pretty
Honestly my favourite thing about this drama was Choi Siwon! Untapped comedic actor right there. I’m waiting for him to be lined up with more rom coms when he gets out of the army.
I know the screen cap makes this look so dodgy but it’s not and it made me laugh so much. Conan and Steven Yeun visiting a Korean Spa.
What have you guys been watching? What would you recommend?
