Yes, I’ve been a little quiet, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been watching anything! In fact, I’ve been watching quite a lot!
American Horror Story
Netflix finally aired season 6 of American Horror story on Saturday…. and I have….already watched all of it. I’m kind of ashamed lol! I have no self-control, but what can you do when you are feeling like a lazy weekend? It felt weirdly ‘nice’ to be watching this show again. I’ve missed it a lot!
This season centers around a house called Roanoke, where all kinds of creepy things occur (naturally). I can’t quite explain the story because that’s what happens when I binge watch! Maybe I will attempt a future blog post where I actually try to tell you about dramas plots…. it’s going to be terrible.
Which leads me to this guy on youtube, who had never watched Game of Thrones and started on season 7! He’s made a series of videos on what he thinks is happening. Sometimes he gets it wrong and it’s really amusing. Now that season 7 is over, he has started watching random episodes to confuse himself even more.
I find most British dramas tend to lean on the gritty depressing side! If that’s your cup of tea, then I suggest you go for another binge-worthy show called Doctor Foster.
This tells the story of a woman who finds out her husband is cheating on her. No, it’s not a new story in the slightest, but I couldn’t take my eyes off it. The way the story unravels makes it more like a domestic thriller.
Suranne Jones is pure brilliance!
I swear I had spoken about this but I guess I haven’t on the blog! I fell into the world of all things royal with The Crown. The drama centers around a young Queen Elizabeth coping with the trials and tribulations of being THE QUEEN.
I have to say I have a lot of fashion envy whilst watching this! I need to waltz around in pearls, frou frou dresses and a tiara because why not?
It’s Ok That’s Love
So it seems like all I’ve been watching is doom and gloom. Don’t worry, let’s go onto kdramas.I don’t know what it is about this year but I haven’t completed a Kdrama for 2017. It’s all false starts with me. I haven’t been committed to any of them. So I’ve decided to find an old one to watch so I chose ‘It’s Ok That’s Love’ because you can’t go wrong with Gong Hyo Jin.

I also found out that Kwang Soo is in this as well. I’ve never seen him act so I’m curious to see if he can shrug off his dorky Running Man persona! I’m only on episode 3 at the moment so watch this space.
Exploring with Josh
It’s youtube vortext time! I have been watching ‘Exploring with Josh’ – which as the title suggests is a guy called Josh exploring all kinds of places. The only thing is that he likes to explore abandoned places e.g. in the video below he visits an abandoned theme park in Japan. It’s fascinating.
It’s probably something I would do if I wasn’t such a chicken. So I will live vicariously through him!
This girl called Coco kept popping up in various youtube channels and it made me think she had something to sell! (which is totally fine because networking is important blah de blah) So turns out she’s in a KPOP group called Cocosori and she has her own youtube channel.
I think the fact that she is a kpop idol makes it more interesting viewing. As aside from the usual ‘get ready with mes’, you get an insight into the behind the scenes of music shows. Not to mention that Coco makes for a fun and bubbly host to follow around.
