Checking out Espoir
More makeup snooping! I just watched Miss A Fei’s One Fine Day. Lucky for us she does a bit of makeup shopping and pops into Espoir. I haven’t found any evidence that she is the face of Espoir so I think I can safely say this is a brand she likes to use.
First Fei makes a beeline for this pencil liner which I believe is the Espoir Color Painting waterproof eyeliner pencil.
It comes in ten lovely shades. It reminds me of Etude House’s play pencils and Clio’s Gelpressos liners.
The one difference is that it has this tip (as pictured below)!
I am presuming this tip is a smudger of sorts which can be used two ways? I haven’t been able to find any online reviews for this pencil so I can’t be certain. I think this tip would offer more precision when applying the liner.
In the end, Fei decides that she will take the one in purple!
Take a closer look at the palette! The colours look really rich and pigmented.
The other product she starts hovering over seems to be the Espoir Pearl Pigment Eyeshadows. She says they’re really pretty. Unfortunately for her, all the colours she wanted were sold out!
Here’s a closer look! It’s pretty self explanatory, it is a pearly eyeshadow.
Out of those two products, I would try out the liner! I’m a massive fan of Clio’s gelpresso’s and nothing yet has matched it in quality. So I’d be curious to see how the eye liner from Espoir would compare.

Bonus: For those who are a bit clueless as to how to make your eyes look bigger with liner! The picture below is a perfect example of how to do it. You can see how Fei has elongated the liner so that it extends much further from where her eye actually ends! Then with liner and shadow at the bottom, she shades that area so that it blends together, leaving a lovely doe eyed effect.
