If you can only see one exhibition this year, you must head down to the Victoria and Albert Museum to see the ‘HOLLYWOOD COSTUME’ exhibition. The title itself is pretty self explanatory, packed into three room are a plethora of Hollywoods finest costumes.
I was really worried about securing a ticket in advance. They seemed to be all fully booked whenever I checked on the website. In the end, I decided to head down early and got a 10.30 slot on a Saturday morning! So even if it says on the website that it is sold out, you can still get tickets on the day. :starpoint:
Now be warned, it is packed! But that is to be expected because of the sheer quantity of iconic costumes inside – Kiera’s green Atonement dress, the black shift dress from Breakfast at Tiffanys, Caption Jack Sparrow….. . I was most excited to see two dresses from Gone with the Wind. :pink:
