I’ve recently became the type of person who will go check out any KPOP concert that is happening in London. It’s really not that often that KPOP acts come to London, so when they do I will take notice and see whether they are worth listening to.
When I heard Infinite were coming, I decided to do some investigating on the band! The most important thing was to find out if I would enjoy their music. The first song of theirs that I got addicted to was a song called ‘Beautiful’. It was really uplifting. I had a good feeling about so many of them so I decided I would buy a ticket to see them! Regardless of whether I knew who the members were, the music was enough to tell me that I would be missing out if I did not go and see them!
And I’m so glad I did!
By the time it was concert night, 27th November, I had already ‘educated’ myself a little with the members and watched their variety show on Sesame Player (which was basically them running away from their managers – haha!).
The Hammersmith Apollo is quite small. I found that if you were sitting in the first block (closest to the stage) it was a pretty good view. But pretty much anything after that, you would find yourself on a very steep incline (think nose bleed seats)! Unfortunately (for fortunately for me) the Infinite gig was not a sell out show, and so when the lights when out, I was able to abandon my seat and walked down to select an even better view, much closer to the stage!
As for the show itself, I thought the atmosphere was amazing! I don’t know whether it was due to the intimacy of the gig but the fans were really brilliant and were able to shout the fan chants loudly!
Infinite were on fire! Their dancing was on point! Their singing was so good!
Infinite London Concert
I was really impressed with Sunggyu’s voice. His voice is so powerful and pleasant to listen to.
My favourite performances of the night were the songs closer to the end of the concert, my main highlight was ‘THE CHASER’. I felt goosebumps seeing it live! You can truly feel the epicness of the song.
If this is the feeling that they are able to create in such a small venue…I can’t even begin to imagine what they’re shows are like in huge arenas. I really hope Infinite come back one day to play a huge venue! I’ll be very excited to see what they pull out from their bag of tricks!
Come back Infinite!
