An Update!
I know, I know! I haven’t updated with many beauty reviews lately but I do have a really good excuse! I have been job hunting! Now if you’ve ever done that, it’s not what I would call a barrel of laughs! However last month, lo and behold I finally landed a shiny new job. I’m still adjusting to my new routine, but I definitely don’t want to be slack in the blogging department (I have so many empties it’s not even funny!) I definitely would like to do some job hunting related career posts for you guys because we all have to do it. Anyway let’s save that for a career related post and get on with the beauty review!
Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cream Review
I’m well aware that Innisfree already have the Jeju Sparkling Mineral line out but I’m still working my way through their lovely green tea range. So today I have Innisfree’s Green Tea Balancing Cream!
I bought this earlier in the year as I looking for a cream that was going to moisturize my skin deeply and protect it from the harsh drying Winter wind. Since I have oily/combo skin, I plumped for the green tea line as it is suitable for my skin.
And here’s the box, excuse the tatty appearance of the box. I tend to keep all the boxes. It just makes for easier storage!
And for those who are sticklers for ingredients, here’s the list!
When I was thinking of a cream, I was imagining that it would have a much thicker consistency than it actually had. As you can see from the tub, it’s really more like a gel. So I would definitely say it is more suitable for people who live in hotter climes or for use during summer.
So whilst I don’t think it’s hydrating enough to nourish my skin in during a UK winter, I still like this cream because:
- It’s lightweight and it makes for easier absorption into the skin.
- Alongside that it has a pleasant light scent of green tea which doesn’t overpower you.
- It feels cooling to the skin
- And my skin behaved well with this! No breakouts whatsoever!
