I’ve been enjoying the Innisfree green tea line immensely! I am using their green tea mist and I’m also using their moisturising cream. On top of that, I’ve also been testing out the Innisfree green tea sleeping pack. Since discovering sleeping masks, I seem to have ditched my sheet masks in favour of the sleeping mask (I find it way too cold to have sheet masks on my face at the moment).
So here’s what the tub looks like! I got it in the 80ml size which is a pretty big tub and should keep you happy for a couple of months. It’s certainly bigger than normal face creams.
What’s so special about the innisfree green tea sleeping pack?
The official blurb says that this pack is infused with organic Jeju green tea and green tea seed oil. This helps moisturise the skin and the antioxidants help to keep it clear. The seed oil is there to prevent the skin from drying out.
It’ also good to know that the product is free of parabens, mineral oil, synthetic colorants and imidazolidinyl urea.
Here’s the packaging
Luckily for Singaporeans, they have the English instructions stuck on the outside.
As for the cream itself, you will notice that there are unusual white capsules in them. These capsules dissolve as you massage the cream into your skin. I’m presuming they’re there to exfoliate the skin a little, like a gentle scrub!
I find that it takes a while for the cream to absorb. However, this is not much of an issue as I would apply the pack before bed and allow it to work its magic overnight! Then I will wash off the mask in the morning.
The verdict
I’ve been using this product on and off since September of last year. I do like this product and the green tea scent is lovely however I’m still not entirely sure if the mask is doing anything for my skin. I don’t feel that it looks too different or feels softer than normal.
If you like a little novelty and want to experience the capsules in the product then go for it. I feel I need to experiment with more sleeping masks to give a fairer assessment for this one.
If you’re on the lookout for a great sleeping pack then I would recommend my favourite by Laneige.
