Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact Review
I’ve just received my rather big delivery of goodies from GMARKET and have been a happy shopper whilst on holiday in Malaysia. So as you already know, it’s been a little while since I last updated BUT it does means that I have a lot to review for you.
So the first item I’m reviewing from my swag bag is the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact!
Huh! Yeah! What is it good for?
The innisfree no sebum mineral pack is described as a sebum control powder which can be used as follows:
- It can be used to eliminate shine and absorb excessive sebum during the day. Goodbye shiny faces!
- This powder can be used to fix your makeup at the last stage!
- You can even use it as an eye makeup primer
- If your hair is really greasy, you can apply it on your hair to remove the oil.
Unfortunately the ingredients are in Korean but a quick google tells me there are no parabens, artificial colours, talc and animal/mineral oil in it! Sounds good! And it’s main feature is that it contains Jeju natural minerals and mint ingredients to control oil and moisture.
I didn’t really have any particular reason to buy this compact other than it cost around £2.50 from GMARKET. I wondered why it was so cheap and thought perhaps they were phasing it out. Well a bargain is a bargain so I snapped it up.
The Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact comes in a cute mint green compact. It’s very small in diameter measuring approx 6.5cm across, so it’s tiny and easy to cart around in your handbag!
When you click it open it reveals a little sponge. The sponge sits on a plastic tray which separates it from the white mineral pressed powder. I like to keep the plastic tray as it is far more hygienic!
If you want to check out the packaging for the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact this is what it looks like! What I like about Innisfree is that they are environmentally friendly! All their packaging is made from 100% recycled material. I may be vain but I would like to try and be kinder to the environment.
As for the product itself, I’ve been using this for about two weeks now. I don’t think this controls sebum at all but that’s not how I wanted to use it anyway. I have combination skin and so it’s very oily on my T-ZONE. I find that the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact is the perfect solution to reducing the shinyness of my face! This usually kicks in around 12pm.
See my before and after shots! Yeah, you can’t really tell the difference. Admittedly my arm is not the most perfect place to test it because I don’t have oily skin there, but I’m just showing you that this powder is transparent which is ideal when you’re already wearing makeup and just want to remove the shine and oil from your skin. I pat the powder on my skin and it absorbs the oil on the surface of my skin, leaving it looking nice and matte.
I like to use this in the mornings as my last step to fix my makeup and then pop it into my handbag and dab a small amount around lunch time! So far so good! It’s already a part of my daily must haves.
