I was up early this morning because my body has this annoying inner alarm clock that will just wake me up when I need to. My body is telling me to get my butt to Super Junior’s Super Show 6 tickets in Singapore but my mind is saying ‘NO! ARE YOU CRAZY?’ So no, I did not want to wake up at 5am on a Saturday morning.
Ah! but I had so much fun at the Super Show 5 in London and I really want to make one stop of the SS6 show. Anyway I’m going to try and not do anything crazy like purchase tickets right now because I’m going to cling to the hope they will have one European stop. I think I will. Let’s see how long my willpower lasts.
Anyway, my parents brought me back a couple of things from Malaysia recently. Some things are tried and tested and others are shiny and new.
Repurchased
Liese Antique Rose bubble hair dye
I just love the selection of hair dyes for brown hair that you can find in Malaysia/Singapore. I love the convenience of bubble hair dyes. You don’t have to wet your hair first. You just load up the dye and let it do its work. I was a bit wary of dying my hair antique rose because it looks so PURPLE on the packaging. However, I’ve used this colour twice now and it’s really lovely. Rather than being purple, I find that the colour warms up my hair colour! I’ve tried a lighter Chesnut brown as well which was nice. I find that the colours don’t really last, but I actually prefer that in a way because it means you don’t really have awkward looking roots.
Innisfree Green Tea Mist
I have about six million facial mists that I need to get through, but I still need to repurchase this one from Innisfree because I really feel like it moisturises better than all the rest of them. It feels a little more silky than usual ones. I always keep this one by my bed so I can hydrate my skin when it is feeling dry. You can read my review here.
Heroine Mascara Volume and Curl
I have not reviewed this before, but I seriously love Heroine mascaras. I feel that this one really leaves my short lashes looking more voluminous. I don’t know why but I prefer having more volume than length. If I wear really long fake eyelashes I ended up looking a little silly.
New things
Innisfree Sheet Masks
This was a random choice by my parents. I’ve never tried these before so it’ll be interesting to see what effects they will have (if any)!
Nature Republic Aloe Vera Cooling Gel
I’ve been seeing this multipurpose gel reviewed on a lot of websites recently. I’m very keen to try it out because it seems so useful! I didn’t realise how MASSIVE the tub is. I’ve noticed in general that Nature Republic are very generous in their product sizes!
So that’s all from my haul. I have resisted getting the Liquid lips from Etude House because I’m really interested in the two tone lip duo from Laneige (post coming up soon).
And finally…
