If you’re looking for an eyeliner that will last the whole day then you need to stop what you’re doing because the search it over!
Mac Fluidline in Dip Down is my most favourite eyeliner in the world. Mac fluidline’s are creme eyeliners that come in small pots as you can see in my picture.
For clean lines, it needs to be applied with an angled brush. You can of course soften these lines with a cotton bud or softener brush.
I’ve been searching high and low for a eye pencil that offers the same quality but I have yet to find one that meets the grade! It does take a steady hand and a little bit of practise to get your lines correct when using the brush! It may seem like a bit of a hassle but I think the product is so good and does its job so well that it’s definitely worth taking the time to master!
Why I like Mac Fluidline
Fluidlines comes in many colours but my favourite is the Dip down shade (dark brown). It is suitable for daily wear as it’s a softer colour than black.
I’ve also just discovered that it is a great eyebrow filler for dark eyebrows. A light brush of dip down is enough to make your eyebrows look nicely defined.
It seems like a small pot but a little really does go a long way so I wouldn’t worry too much! It will last you I promise!
Most important reason for buying this is that it is waterproof and will not smudge for the whole day!
Tips for using Mac Fluidline
I have found that if you do not close the lid of the container properly the colour will dry out. You can revive dead fluidlines by adding just a small amount of eye drops and stirring it in. This will add some moisture! Since this is an eye makeup product I wouldn’t recommend doing this more than once though.
It might seem like a given but CLEAN YOUR BRUSH! If your brush gets clogged up with the liner then application will not glide on as smoothly it should.
Where can I buy it?
You can purchase mac fluidline’s for £14.00 from Mac of course! Check out the official UK site here.
